Forever family wanted! Meet Jackie!

468 days. Jackie has been waiting for her family for far too long! Please like, tag, comment, and share to help Jackie find her forever home.

Used as a breeding dog and then discarded when she was no longer useful, this beautiful 6 year old Shepherd mix has flourished since she arrived with Labs and More. Once matted, her coat is soft and fluffy and she has a twinkle in her eye that we didn't see when she first arrived. This dream girl checks a lot of boxes in the list of what most people desire in a canine pal. Jackie is house trained and has access to a yard (and her choice of dog beds) when her humans leave during the day. She is friendly and affectionate, loves to snuggle, and does well with other dogs of any size. She is a playful and happy girl who loves treats and all things that squeak. Jackie came to us with hip dysplasia and arthritis, neither of which are able to be fixed with surgery. She walks with a limp, but she doesn't let that stop her from enjoying life! The sight of her leash and new squeaky toys always get a speedy trot out of Jackie. She takes glucosamine to help her joints but otherwise doesn't take any daily medication. Jackie would love a forever family that enjoys a leisurely lifestyle and wants to be showered by her love. No kitties for this sweetie though, she was tested in a foster home with cats and thinks that cats are fun to chase.

Interested in adding a sweet love bug to your family? The first step in being approved to adopt from Labs and More is applying online at www.labsandmore.org. Already approved to adopt and interested in meeting Jackie? Email your adoption coach to request a meeting with this sweet girl. Our dogs are located in Southern California. Please SHARE to help Jackie find her forever home! #AdoptDontShop ...

I fostered Jackie for about 4 months and she is a wonderful dog. Very gentle and so well behaved. She was a perfect office dog.

Oh she is so beautiful! I cannot believe she hasn’t been adopted. Hopefully soon🤞🏼🤞🏼

Cutting Edge K9 Rehab will donate a few sessions for jackie and offer her new parents a big discount for swimming which will help her limp/hip dysplasia tremendously!!!!! Beautiful girl🐾💕

I will add that Golden Paste... very simple to make with turmeric, coconut oil, water and fresh ground black pepper will help her joints so so much! 💛💜

She is the perfect example of adopt, don’t shop! After being used for breeding then discarded - that’s just shameful! Sending Miss Jackie lots of love and prayers that she will find the best, loving forever home she so deserves! ❤️🙏

What a beauty she is!! Prayers for Miss Jackie. .. 💞💞💞 come on peeps!!

I fostered Jackie for a while and my whole family fell in love with her. She is a total sweetheart.

She is so beautiful and well mannered at the events

She's beautiful!! 💕

She is amazing 😘

She's gorgeous

Gaius (formerly Conch, bottom in the photo) has been a perfect partner in crime for his older sister Blueberry.

Elwood (formerly Oyster) is also doing great! He loves to play fetch and has yet to meet a human or fellow dog he doesn't love. We adore him. If only I could get him to stop digging...but no one's perfect ;)

What a sweetheart. Our Malcolm (Auger) is a wonderful dog too and has brought so much joy to our lives. It must run in the family!

This is Albie (Abalone). He’ll do anything for a treat. His joy and happiness are infectious. We are a happy little family in the Mira Mesa area, and would love a meet up with any of the pups.

This is so great! Pita was our first foster and we were so happy she went to such a good home! If you ever do a meet up we would love to come and see her!

For all of Pita’s siblings, we are in the Inland Empire but would love to set up a reunion some time! ☺️

Lotus is a super sweet 2 year old lab/shepard mix. She LOVES to be next to her people and would make an excellent companion dog. She'll melt your heart with her joyful energy and enduring spirit. She also loves to play in the water and run with the big dogs despite a back leg injury. This special girl is looking for a family that can give her the unconditional love she deserves.

Bravo Charlie is a very special senior looking for someone to love on him. He LOVES to go on walks, is perfect in the house, gets along with other dogs. He is not great with stairs so a single level home is best. He is low maintenance and adorable. He just wants to hang out with you in retirement.

We are fostering Orchid (the copper colored dog) and she is a love bug! She is listed online as being about 10 months old and is around 25-30 lbs. Orchid is still just a baby and is working on house training and not barking from feeling lonely in the crate. She would love to find a house with a dog buddy, as you can see she loves to play with our dog. She loves dog toys and treats, and knows “sit” for treats. Sometimes she chews on things she shouldn’t, but she corrects well and redirects when given a more appropriate option. Orchid is picking up leash training quickly and rides well in a car. We will miss her when she is adopted but she deserves the very best family out there. Let me know if you have any questions about Orchid. 🌸🌸🌸

🌸TALAVERA🌸
She is “new to me” foster.
House trained from day 1, no accidents.
Crates well with little fuss (4-5 hours during day and overnight).
Working on house and leash manners.
Takes treats gently.
Enjoys being outside.
Sweet Fluffball 🌸

I don’t know how or why, but all 5 Bahamas Pups are still available for adoption!! 😱😱These pups will be 11 weeks old on Wednesday, and I think they will be more medium-sized when full grown since they are smaller pups. We don’t know who their parents are, so your guess to their mix is as good as mine! They are practically 100% newspaper trained as long as they know where to go, love their chew toys, enjoy running around outside, and need families that will integrate them into the home and cherish these cuties! We are planning to be at the adoption event this weekend, so come meet these sweet pups!!

Looking for proof that your perfect pet need not be perfect? Look no further than Joy. She’s a spunky smaller girl who is a wonderful, well-behaved family dog at home. She’s affectionate, obedient, 100% house trained and crate trained. At thirty-five pounds she’s a bit large for a lap dog, but she enjoys sitting next to her foster dad when he works on the computer or watches TV. She loves people of all sizes and shapes. So why isn’t she a perfect pup? Well, she’s a little older, about six years. She has a few missing teeth and also doggy warts. Finally, she has a hard time making new canine friends—it takes her a day or two to accept a new dog or anything else that walks on more than two legs. If you can live with a few flaws in exchange for a lot of love, Joy might be your perfect furry friend.

Meet Lush! Lush is just about 8 weeks old and is 12 pounds. She is listed as a border collie/Australian shepherd mix but we think she is just a shepherd mix. She has a little bit of chow in her because she does have some black spots on her tounge! This girl has a very spunky attitude. We have had her since she has been 3.5 weeks and has grown up with larger dogs. She loves to play and wrestle with my 38lb and 76lb dogs. She should have a dog sibling that can show her the ropes and teach her a lesson or two. Since she is a shepherd, she already has high energy and needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation. If she doesn't get the mental stimulation she needs, hide your shoes! While she is super cute, this girl will be a challenge! She chews on everything (from people to furniture to shoes) and she thinks she is top dog and owns everything and everyone. Her new family will need to be patient, willing to work with her, and should be experienced with high energy and dominant dogs. This sweet girl will be ready and at her first adoption event this Saturday, so get ready for this girl!

Just one look at this beautiful girl and you’ll fall in love! This is Insect Pup-Cricket, a 6/7 month old lab mix who’s short tail is always wagging. She has a stunning brindle, short haired coat and currently about 30 lbs. She is good with other dogs, kids, cats, just about anything she wants to be her friend. She knows sit, sleeps well in her crate but would also be totally okay with snuggling in bed with you. She has good leash skills, medium energy, and seems to be housetrained. We have had her over a week and she has not pottied in the house once. She’s smart, trusting, quiet, and sweet and looooooves to give kisses!!! Cricket is easy to fall in love with!

these two adorable girls are judy and liza! they are our first puppy fosters and we are having so much fun watching their personalities blossom. they are 7 week old australian shepherd mixes, so they should be a medium size when full grown.

they love to play and wrestle with each other as well as with our dog. they are both very sweet and are all about people (confidence is not a problem with these two). both are almost 100% trained to go potty on newspaper in their pen and they go on the grass when they’re in the backyard.

we can’t say enough good things about these cuties and we are so excited to help them find their forever homes! be prepared for lots of puppy kisses!

Carat is a super affectionate beauty who adores her people but would prefer to be an only pet. She’s housebroken and is polite inside the house. This sweet girl craves affection. She looks intimidating but would probably make a horrible guard dog because she pretty much loves everyone. We adore her and want to see her in the perfect home that she deserves.
