It was great being there!

Everyone had a great, personal testimony to give to everyone.

I absolutely left with a different understanding about many issues in our communities.

Thanks again!

We do for others not because they do for us, but because it is the right thing.

The question arises though whether the members of the other union will do the same for nurses ? In many cases they won’t. It has to go both ways

California Nurses Association

Nurses support RN Rochelle Pardue-Okimoto for #AD15 because she will fight for single-payer and give working people a voice at the table! YOU can show your support for Rochelle this Saturday:

Rochelle Pardue-Okimoto for AD 15
For the past 17 years, I have worked as a nurse at Alta Bates Hospital. My husband and I are raising our two boys in El Cerrito, where I serve on the City Council.
Most of my friends can't write $1,000 checks to my campaign, but I am proud of my grassroots campaign. I hope you will view my campaign ad and share it with friends and family.
It tells a bit of my story – coming from a trying childhood, but working hard and going to college. I wanted to help others – so I became a nurse. I have been an organizer for nurses, an advocate fighting to keep Alta Bates open and an activist standing up against hate in my community. We face many challenges, but I know that working with so many energized progressives we can make a difference in Sacramento.
I would be honored to have your support.
