San Francisco Woman Shot Dead In Mexico City

A 27-year-old San Francisco woman was killed by a stray bullet in Mexico City over the weekend. 2017 was Mexico’s deadliest year on record, with more than 25,000 murders, prompting the U.S. to issue a travel ban to five Mexican states.

Tatiana Mirutenko was leaving a restaurant when she was shot and killed. Police say two men on a motorcycle were aiming for a bar bouncer who was at the same restaurant.
