Undercover author finds Amazon warehouse workers in UK 'peed in bottles' over fears of being punished for taking a break

"For those of us who worked on the top floor, the closest toilets were down four flights of stairs. People just peed in bottles because they lived in fear of being disciplined over 'idle time.'"

An undercover author told The Sun that workers at an Amazon warehouse in the UK "peed in bottles" because they were scared walking to a bathroom would cause them to miss targets.

This week we are highlighting tips for visiting any of our desert parks like Anza-Borrego Desert State Park or Providence Mountains State Recreation Area this spring or summer.

Most Important: Make sure to stay hydrated! Temperatures can range from mid 80s to 110s during the day to nearly freezing temperatures during nights. Simple actions such as taking plenty of water (1 gallon/per person/day) and food, and knowing that cell coverage is extremely limited or non-existent can help you be better prepared to safely enjoy the desert.

Today's Tips:

1. Make sure to have plenty of water and food for duration of your trip to avoid dehydration, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
2. Check Weather. Weather can change instantly.
3. Dress appropriately with layers of clothing and appropriate shoes such as hiking boots and close-toed shoes.
4. Mark tents and ropes so they are visible at night.
5. Keep it clean: pack it in & pack it out. ...

We could start by reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles. Thousands of these are passed out to park volunteers. Some parks have no recycling programs.

It seems that our governor and his Lt governor are boasting of a 60 billion dollar budget surplus and yet they raised our gas taxes and vehicle registration fees higher than any in the nation.

Now it appears they are either lying about the budget surplus or they are incompetent at running state branches and have bureaucrats with political agendas.

Whatever stooge is in charge of Green-valley and Cuyamaca should be fired and frankly the parks should be open free of charge with that much surplus in hand.

Yes it’s time to start pulling voter levers that stop stealing your rights and your public lands from us the public.
